Cause of the Month
Each month, We-Care.com selects one organization to highlight to our users. If your cause is selected as our Cause of the Month, your organization will collaborate with our public relations and development team to formulate a series of feature blog posts, a comprehensive social media campaign and news release. Some notable causes that have been featured as Cause of the Month in the past include Her Justice, AIDS Research Alliance, International Book Bank and the iCAN: Empowering Kids with Autism and SMA project.
Deal of the Day
Every day (Monday – Friday), We-Care.com shares a promotion from one of our 2700+ merchants, intended to be shared through the social channels of our 800+ nonprofit partners. These deals encourage users to make a purchase, which, in turn, results in a donation for you! The designated point of contact from your organization will receive an email from a member of our affiliate team with the subject line “Your Facebook and Twitter Deal of the Day!” The email will be complete with marketing copy and images. All you have to do is copy and paste! Take a look at how Autism Speaks and Covenant House incorporated Deal of the Day into their social campaigns.
Our newest and most interactive route of partnership is through our Sweeps4aCause platform. Being that email remains as one of the most effective digital communication channels for nonprofits. We-Care.com has built a platform that incentivizes users to register for your newsletter by offering a $10,000 giveaway (+$10,000 donation for you as well)! We-Care.com sponsors and co-hosts special events and contests throughout the year with our nonprofit and corporate partners. Past events include: Remembering Robin Williams in partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and Eflixir, a visit to the set of Access Hollywood with Kit Hoover in partnership with ASPCA and a holiday toy drive in partnership with The Children’s Aid Society.
Throughout the year, We-Care.com creates landing pages that are relevant to the current retail calendar. These pages are made to be easily shared by your organization just as your online mall is. The ASPCA loved our department stores landing page. Autism Speaks also saw success in sharing our tax center landing page with their supporters via their Facebook page.
Even as email, social media, and peer to peer fundraising becomes more important, your website is still the cornerstone to your online presence. Building a We-Care.com section on your website will let visitors know about another way to support your organization; plus, you can link back to this section when you post on social media or write a newsletter blurb. We love how Save the Children included We-Care.com on their website in section called Other Ways to Help. Shout out to Breastcancer.org for also including us on their Shop for Breastcancer.org page.
Guest Blog Posts
Any We-Care.com partner is eligible to submit a post to be published on our blog and shared through our social media platforms. These posts are a great way for your organization to gain exposure to We-Care.com’s growing community of cause supporters and share with your own followers.
