A start-up company can be a challenging, demanding, and frustrating place to work. We-Care.com’s work may support nonprofits, but that doesn’t make us an exception.
In one of our darker moments, General Manager Bill Snyder shamelessly rallied the We-Care.com troops with a spontaneous swivel-chair dance interpretation of George Michael’s “Freedom.”
Unfortunately for Bill, cell phones now capture video.
We asked Bill if we could post this video. His response:
“I’m an opportunist. We-Care.com allows shoppers to donate a percentage of what they spend online — at more than 900 merchants — to the nonprofit of their choice, simply by adding a click through our site. We also offer a free suite of tools to nonprofits that help them raise funds whenever their supporters, board, staff, family, or puppets shop online. If this video gets more people and nonprofits to benefit from our services, I can live with the shame.”
