Every day at We-Care.com is an opportunity to give back. With over 800 nonprofit partners, the We-Care team is honored to help both small and large causes alike earn donations and supporters with each online purchase. But sometimes, it’s good to get out of the office, away from the screens, and give back to the community with our time as well.
This week, the team took an afternoon and spent time with the children of NYU’s Tisch Pediatrics and Fink Children’s Ambulatory Care Center. Loaded with plenty of arts and crafts supplies, we headed to Midtown East ready to make memories (and Valentine’s Day cards) with chronically and severely ill kids when they needed it most.
It was a powerful afternoon, to say the least, and a strong reminder of why we do what we do. While shopping with We-Care.com makes an incredible difference for your cause (we’ve already donated about $8 million to nonprofits across the country!), physically and emotionally getting out there and helping others — even if just for a few hours — is beneficial to yourself and those whom you’re volunteering for.

Half of the We-Care.com team went to NYU’s Fink Children’s Ambulatory Care Center.
Meanwhile, the rest of We-Care.com was a few blocks away at NYU’s Tisch Hospital.
