During April, We-Care.com chose to highlight our partner causes working to spread awareness of and support those affected by diabetes. We’d like to thank all our users who chose to shop in support of our Cause of the Month, and, of course, our Cause of the Month organizations who continue to do the important work for those affected by diabetes. Through the support our We-Care.com users, $4,078.28 was generated during this April. Please take a second to learn about each of our partnered Cause of the Month organizations and consider continuing to shop in support of one of these great organizations.

DiabetesSisters offers a range of education and support services to help women of all ages with all types of diabetes live healthier, fuller lives. They understand the fear and isolation that often comes with living with diabetes because we are an organization that is managed by women who are living with diabetes. DiabetesSisters recognizes that emotional and peer support is vitally important to a woman’s overall well-being. Through DiabetesSisters‘ education and support services, women form a special bond and can freely share information, helpful tips, and stories of hope. Shop in support of DiabetesSisters.

The Diabetes Hands Foundation believes no one touched by diabetes should ever feel alone, because together they can become stronger and have the power to generate positive change in themselves and their community. Diabetes can be a very isolating disease, so Diabetes Hands Foundation provides platforms where people with diabetes and their loved ones can connect and have an open dialog about their experiences with this chronic condition. Instead of looking at the disease, Diabetes Hands Foundation seeks to understand, connect, and energize the millions of people living with this condition. Shop in support of Diabetes Hands Foundation.
